posted 9 months ago by lanecoad from Lane COAD
The deadline to submit Initial Individual Applications to FEMA is Monday, November 16. Please help spread the word that Oregonians in Clackamas, Douglas, Jackson, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn and Marion Counties affected by the wildfires can register with FEMA to apply for individual assistance. Application information may inform future federal assistance; it’s critical that all wildfire impacted households understand available FEMA resources, and register for assistance at https://www.disasterassistance.gov/.
The deadline to apply for Disaster Unemployment Assistance Extended is Friday, November 27. You may qualify for DUA if you became unemployed, had your work hours substantially reduced, or are unemployed self-employed because of the September wildfires. Make sure to apply if you have not done so already and believe you qualify. Applications are available in English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, and Simplified Chinese online at http://www.oregon.gov/EMPLOY/Disaster.
